Unilever PLC (LSE:ULVR) has decided to sell two of its long-standing brands, Unox from the Netherlands and Zwan from Belgium, to the Zwanenberg Food Group. These brands have been part of Unilever for nearly a century, and the company stated that this sale will help them streamline their food offerings and concentrate on larger, more significant brands.

Reginaldo Ecclissato, who is the chief business operations and supply chain officer, has been appointed as the president of One Unilever Markets, reporting directly to the CEO. These new CFO responsibilities will start on January 1, as Unilever aims to adjust its operations to better promote its top 30 "power" brands and simplify its business, especially in Europe. Unilever manages around 400 brands globally.
