Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is a military shipbuilding company and provider of professional services for partners in government and industry. HII consists of three divisions: Newport News Shipbuilding, Ingalls Shipbuilding, and Technical Solutions. Huntington Ingalls Industries is the sole producer of nuclear aircraft carriers in the United States, and one of two American producers of nuclear submarines. The company also designs and builds non-nuclear ships, including amphibious assault ships, deck landing ships, dock landing ships, surface combatants, as well as national security cutters for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard. Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. was founded in 1886 and is headquartered in Newport News, Virginia.
