TORONTO, Jan. 28, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cerro Grande Mining Corporation (the “Company” or “CEG”) (CSE:CEG) has announced the formal termination of the Asset Purchase and Contracts Assignment Agreement (the “APA”) made on December 1, 2020, between Minera Tamidak Limitada (“Tamidak”) and its subsidiary Minera Til Til SpA (“Til Til”). This agreement involved Til Til acquiring mining concessions and assets for the Pimentón Copper Gold Mining Project, as previously reported. The termination occurred because the Company was unable to make the final cash payment required by Tamidak, which could not be paid in shares.

At Zacks, we concentrate on the reliable Zacks Rank system, which highlights earnings estimates and changes in those estimates to identify excellent stocks. However, we also keep an eye on the most recent trends in value, growth, and momentum to support our top selections.
At the end of the last trading day, APA (APA) was priced at $24.85, which represents a 1.93% increase compared to the previous day.
APA Corp is dealing with an $800 million loss because of higher taxes in the UK and intends to stop its operations in the North Sea, which only made up 5% of its revenue in the third quarter. This is disappointing since this part of the business used to be quite profitable, but the company is concerned about the risks to future cash flows. However, positive news from Suriname with Total could greatly increase production, possibly doubling it, although the first oil is not expected until 2028.
LYSAKER, Norway, Jan. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Norwegian government is providing Aker BP the chance to own 19 exploration licenses in the APA 2024 licensing round on the Norwegian continental shelf. Additionally, Aker BP will be the operator for 16 of these licenses.
