This dividend will be paid on March 27, 2025, to shareholders who are on record as of March 13, 2025 (the "Record Date"). The new dividend rate will apply for the entire 2025 fiscal year.
On January 27, 2025, Franco-Nevada Corporation announced a significant financing deal with Discovery Silver Corporation to help fund the acquisition of the Porcupine Complex in Ontario from Newmont Corporation. This deal includes a 4.25% net smelter return royalty for $300 million, a $100 million senior secured term loan, and around $49 million in equity participation as part of a larger equity raise by Discovery.
TORONTO, Jan. 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ - Franco-Nevada is happy to share that Daniel Malchuk has been appointed to its board of directors, starting today. Mr. Malchuk has more than 30 years of experience in strategy, operations, and finance within the natural resource sector.

Increasing gold prices and strong demand are positive signs for the Zacks Mining - Gold sector. We recommend monitoring stocks such as AEM, FNV, KGC, EQX, and GROY.
FNV has signed a $500 million agreement for precious metals with Sibanye-Stillwater, anticipating quick cash flow.
TORONTO, Dec. 19, 2024 /PRNewswire/ - Franco-Nevada Corporation ("Franco-Nevada" or the "Company") (TSX: FNV) (NYSE: FNV) is happy to share that its fully-owned subsidiary, Franco-Nevada (Barbados) Corporation ("FNB"), has signed a precious metals stream agreement related to certain production from Sibanye-Stillwater Limited's ("Sibanye-Stillwater") mining sites in Marikana, Rustenburg, and Kroondal, located in South Africa's Bushveld Complex. This Stream mainly includes gold for the entire life of the mine and platinum for about 25 years, which will provide a more consistent delivery of gold equivalent ounces ("GEO") to FNB during this time.
Franco Nevada is a top choice that every investor should keep an eye on. They have a unique skill in finding and purchasing royalty assets at the perfect moment. However, we are worried about the current price of gold.
FNV's revenue for the third quarter shows the effects of reduced contributions from Candelaria, Antapaccay, and Energy assets, although this was somewhat balanced by record-high gold prices.
G Mining Ventures is expected to receive nearly $22 million from Franco Nevada's warrant exercise. The gold mining firm announced that Franco-Nevada Corporation (TSX:FNV) will exercise 11.5 million common share purchase warrants, which were provided during the funding for the Tocantinzinho gold project in Brazil.
