Bagsværd, Denmark, 12 December 2024 – Novo Nordisk has announced that the European Medicines Agency's (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has given a positive recommendation to update the Ozempic® label. This update will include findings from the FLOW kidney outcomes trial, which evaluated how Ozempic® therapy can lower the risk of events related to chronic kidney disease, such as a significant decline in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).
