Wilson tennis racket maker Amer Sports released its first earnings report since its IPO, saying its losses narrowed.
Amer Sports Inc (NYSE:AS) has received a score of positive reviews from analysts after floating on the New York Stock Exchange last month. Initiating coverage on Monday, Bank of America, UBS and Goldman Sachs analysts were among those to grant the Helsinki-based outdoor apparel brand owner ‘buy' ratings.
Private-equity and venture-capital firms flourished during the low-interest rate period that followed the 2008 financial crisis with a brisk pace of mergers and acquisitions, as well as a healthy pipeline of initial public offerings.
Amer Sports Inc. AS, -2.34%, the Finnish sportswear company that went public last week, said Tuesday it has launched an offering of $600 million of seven-year high-yield bonds. The Helsinki-based company and some of its units have also entered a new credit agreement, under which they will have a new $600 million term loan facility, a new EUR500 million term loan facility and a new revolving credit facility that will initially be $710 million.
Sports equipment and apparel maker Amer Sports priced below the range to raise $1.3 billion at a $6.4 billion market cap. CNS disorder biotech Alto Neuroscience priced its upsized IPO at the top of the range to raise $129 million at a $456 million market cap.
