OPRA Latest News
OSLO, Norway , July 1, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Opera GX, the browser for gamers, is bringing a significant update to the browser's built-in AI, Aria. This update provides users with the latest AI features that Opera [NASDAQ: OPRA] has been releasing as part of their experimental AI Feature Drops program in the Developer stream of the Opera One browser.
OPRA continues to demonstrate excellent monetization across its gaming platform, advertising, and search engine segments, along with growing market shares. This is on top of the improved edge multi-modal AI capabilities, allowing users to keep data locally while browsing/ working "privately and securely." OPRA's strategy of focusing on higher ARPU regions since FQ2'21 have been extremely successful as well, as observed in the expansion in its adj EBITDA margins.
OSLO, Norway , June 11, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Opera Limited (NASDAQ: OPRA) ("Opera"), one of the world's major browser developers and a leading internet consumer brand, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared its upcoming semi-annual cash dividend for holders of Opera's ordinary shares as well as American Depositary Shares ("ADSs"), each representing two ordinary shares. Opera's next semi-annual dividend under its recurring dividend program will be $0.40 per ADS.
Investors were hoping Opera and Apple could collaborate. Apple made no mention of Opera at its event today.
OSLO, Norway , June 4, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Opera [NASDAQ: OPRA], the original browser company, today announced the release of a new feature that gives you the ability to embellish your tabs with emojis. Tab Emojis bring a fresh level of customization to the browser by allowing users to add an emoji to each tab they open.
Opera announced a partnership with Google. Specifically, Opera's multi-LLM browser will now host Google's Gemini.
The consensus price target hints at a 65.2% upside potential for Opera Limited (OPRA). While empirical research shows that this sought-after metric is hardly effective, an upward trend in earnings estimate revisions could mean that the stock will witness an upside in the near term.
Opera investors have suffered a recent bear market, but the pain could have peaked. Opera has continued to grow its higher-value user base robustly, benefiting its monetization opportunities. The recent Digital Markets Act in the EU could open up more opportunities for Opera to expand further in iOS.
Opera stock pulled back substantially in the past few months, but the bigger picture appears to be bright. Opera's investments in AI infrastructure to make its browsers more capable could turn out to be a smart move.
Investors frequently consider suggestions from Wall Street analysts when deciding whether to Buy, Sell, or Hold a stock. Despite the impact of media reports on stock prices based on rating changes from these analysts, their relevance is questionable.
