Insteel Industries (IIIN) has become technically an oversold stock now, which implies exhaustion of the heavy selling pressure on it. This, combined with strong agreement among Wall Street analysts in revising earnings estimates higher, indicates a potential trend reversal for the stock in the near term.
Insteel Industries Inc. is close to the bottom of the cycle and there is potential for sequential improvement as FY24 progresses. Inventory destocking among distributors is almost over, which will be one less headwind for the company. The federal government's stimulus and infrastructure projects are expected to fuel growth in the construction industry, benefiting Insteel Industries.
