WBD suffers from declining revenues and domestic general entertainment audience. Despite an expanded partner base, these should keep investors on the sidelines.

On Monday, the shares of Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. (WBD) are experiencing an increase in value.
David Faber from CNBC shares updates about Warner Bros. Discovery and the NBA.
The NBA and Warner Bros. Discovery have come to an agreement that enables the league to continue working with Disney, NBCUniversal (owned by Comcast), and Amazon as its media partners.

Experts think that CNN is expected to earn about $750 million this year, which seems impressive. However, this figure is actually lower than the more than $1 billion it made in 2020.
Warner Bros. Discovery reported solid financial results even though their revenue decreased compared to last year, and they still have a strong free cash flow yield, making them a worthwhile investment. Although the studios segment did not perform as well as last year, their content revenues are still strong, and the streaming segment is growing, particularly in international markets. The company has a lot of debt, but with $3.5 billion in cash and reasonable interest rates, they are concentrating on reducing that debt.
Warner Bros. Discovery's results for the third quarter show significant growth in direct-to-consumer subscribers, although this was somewhat balanced out by weaker performance in the studios division.
Warner Bros. Discovery made its first overall profit since the merger. The direct-to-consumer segment had its best quarter to date, and EBITDA reached new highs. However, the studios segment did not perform well, partly because of the previous year's success with "Barbie" and the letdown of "Joker."
