Terex's acquisition of ESG for USD 2 billion increases financial risk due to new debt, reducing intrinsic value from USD 92 to USD 84 per share. Despite the acquisition not being value accretive, TEX still offers a 30% margin of safety at the current market price. Terex remains a strong company with the acquisition.
