CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)---- $EXC #ComEd--Last year, ComEd provided around 100,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of energy savings to its customers through voltage optimization (VO), which improves how appliances and equipment work, leading to less energy use and lower electricity costs. This saving is comparable to preventing over 33,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions or supplying power to more than 11,500 ComEd homes for a year. The program has been in place since 2018.
I continue to recommend buying Exelon Corporation because it has a good valuation, consistent earnings growth, and a positive technical chart. In the fourth quarter, EXC's non-GAAP EPS was $0.64, which exceeded expectations, and its revenue reached $5.5 billion, showing a small rise that supports a positive outlook. Although EXC has not performed as well as the S&P 500, its expected EPS growth of 5-7% and a possible 10% price increase provide a reasonable level of safety.
